I met Rachael when she recorded some of her album “Happenstance” at my studio in Laurel Canyon. We had lots of fun working in the studio and hanging out looking admiring the view from the mountaintop. Rachael is a soulful singer and pianist, and is honest to the core – what you see on stage and hear in her songs is the truth. Highlights of working with her were helping out with some of the orchestral arrangements and playing a mellow rhodes part on “1963″. She’s a restless, gifted artist. I can’t wait to hear what she does next.
